Pastor Darius Washington and his wife, Shayna, are passionate about building a church where people from every background can encounter Jesus, discover their God-given purpose, and find a place to belong. Together, they are devoted to raising their blended family of five children while serving the AVE Tampa community with authenticity, compassion, and faith.

 

With a heart for both the Church and the creative community, Pastor Darius believes every person is uniquely designed by God with gifts that can be used to make an eternal impact. His calling is to help people grow in their relationship with Christ, develop as leaders, and boldly live out the purpose God has placed on their lives.

 

Having faithfully served in ministry for more than 15 years, Pastor Darius leads with biblical truth, practical wisdom, and a deep commitment to seeing lives transformed. His vision for AVE is to build a creative church that reflects Heaven, where many cultures are celebrated, many generations are connected, and people from every walk of life experience the hope and love of Jesus Christ.
